Coronavirus: Controlling Your Emotions During the Outbreak

RD&T contributing writer, Oliver JR Cooper, discusses the emotions people are feeling with the outbreak of the Coronavirus. He asks: Will it be harder for someone to handle what is going on if their emotions are out of control?

Due to the contagion, there is what is taking place externally and then there is what is taking place internally. Also, in the same way that there will be people that are more affected by what is taking place externally than others; there will also be people that are more affected by what is taking place internally than others.

When it comes to the former, there will be those that can work from home and those that can’t. Additionally, there will be those that are able to see family members and those that are unable to do so.

Different Experiences

What this illustrates is that not everyone is going to be impacted in the same way. So without even going into what the contagion will or won’t do, there are all of the other elements that are at play during this time.
