Losing weight can be a challenging journey because food is one of the many pleasures in life, and abstaining from certain foods can feel like torture. This is especially true if we’re emotional eaters.
When we go on a diet, we think it’s a temporary way of eating until we reach the weight we want. Once we reach it, we let go of our dietary habits. The majority of us regain the lost weight over the course of a few months.
Instead of talking about diets, I’m going to give you a list of guidelines to help you lose weight without having to abstain from certain foods or cutting back on how much you eat. Your weight loss journey will feel effortless as the pounds start to melt off!
Tip#1 – Increase your intake of whole, nutrients-dense foods.
Who says weight loss is only about cutting back? In fact, I recommend the opposite! Eat more foods that are in their natural state and actually look like food.
