Getting clients is at the forefront of every entrepreneur’s mind for obvious reasons. It is the one thing that makes or breaks a business. But before we even get to the strategy or process of getting clients, we first need to address some prerequisites.
1. Clarify Your Niche
Have a clear niche that answers the following questions:
- Who is your ideal client in terms of demographics and characteristics?
- What problem are you solving for them?
- What is your solution?
- What is the tangible result of your solution?
2. Specify Your Outcome
Have a clear outcome for getting clients. Why do you want clients, and how many clients do you want? Setting a clear goal for what you desire gives you a measurable indication between where you are now and where you wish to be.
